When a natural gas operator miscalculated the order delivery date for triethylene glycol (TEG), the customer relied on Quadra to locate and deliver the product as soon as possible to its remote Northeastern British Columbia location.
Compounding the urgency, Quadra’s regular carrier was fully booked, with no immediate availability for expedited delivery. Ensuring the customer’s operations continued uninterrupted was a top priority for Quadra’s Natural Gas Team. The first step was to tap into the customer’s network of carriers. After many calls, a new carrier was identified – one that could accommodate the timeline after cleaning and flushing a truck and picking up product. Routing and coordination had to be managed seamlessly with warehouse teams, carriers, and the customer to ensure everything was on track, giving the customer peace of mind knowing their needs were being prioritized.
The product was delivered to meet the urgent request and the customer’s production remained intact. This is more than a logistical win-it was a demonstration of Quadra’s commitment to customer service excellence and the value of persistence in problem-solving for a key customer.
