Quadra Partners to Advance Rare Earth Chemistry at Halleck Creek Project

The recent discovery of 2.63 billion tonnes of rare earth elements at the Halleck Creek Project in Wyoming marks a potential turning point for the global rare earth industry. Owned by American Rare Earths Ltd., this JORC-compliant deposit could significantly strengthen U.S. supply chains for the critical materials powering clean energy technologies.

Quadra is proud to support this project through a collaborative effort with American Rare Earths Ltd. and Montana Technological University. We are contributing both expertise and resources to develop next-generation flotation chemistry for rare earth processing. Our own Daniel Canady will work alongside PhD synthesis chemists at Montana Tech to design and optimize the molecules required for efficient REE recovery, while the university’s Metallurgy department validates the chemistry through flotation testing. Once the chemistry is refined, Quadra will partner with a toll manufacturer to bring these innovations to market, ensuring real-world impact and commercialization.

This partnership reflects Quadra’s commitment to solving complex industrial challenges, investing in innovation, and helping advance critical resource independence in North America. We look forward to driving this groundbreaking project forward and supporting the future of rare earth development.
