Safeguarding the Selkirk Traditional Territory
Quadra and Selkirk Development Corp. (SDC) discovered hazardous materials at the Minto mine site that needed proper disposal to ensure the protection of the environment and the health and well-being of Selkirk First Nation citizens.
On March 12, 2025, Selkirk Development Corp., Quadra, and Prospec collaborated with the Government of Yukon to remove hazardous Xanthate materials from the Selkirk First Nation traditional territory.

Since 1935, the Mining Association of Canada (MAC) has been the national voice of the Canadian mining industry. Collaborating with our members, MAC promotes the industry nationally and internationally. Quadra participants with MAC’s Indigenous Relations Committee to advance best practices to benefit MAC members and Indigenous Nations.

Quadra is a proud member of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) and values the guidance and leadership that the organization shares with many companies with respect to economic and cultural reconciliation in Canada. As members of the organization, Quadra supports Indigenous Group.
