Quadra will engage Indigenous communities to build and maintain positive relationships by:
- Engaging with the upmost honesty, openness, and mutual respect.
- Seeking to understand how each community wants to engage with us and focus our efforts on mutually beneficial projects.
- Respecting unique Indigenous cultures, and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and agreements distinct to wherever we operate.
- Recognizing the importance of the United Nations Declaration for the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission: Calls to Action.
- Seeking input and knowledge from Indigenous communities to learn the unique histories of each community and their traditional lands.
- Complementing Indigenous communities’ desires for socio-economic sustainability.

Quadra and Oosita Limited Partnership
Quadra Group has launched a limited partnership with Oosita, a driving force for prosperity and reconciliation for the Fort Chipewyan Métis Nation (FCMN). Together, the Oosita-Quadra LP commit to sharing the journey to advance the process of reconciliation and meet the evolving needs of oil sands customers in the Athabasca Region, Alberta.
Oosita partners with industry leaders who share a mission and vision for innovation, economic prosperity, exemplary service and product delivery. Quadra’s extensive logistics network and supply security give partners trust and confidence in their commitment to service excellence toward customers, suppliers, and partners.

In addition to our limited partnership with Oosita, Quadra also has shared benefits agreements with Indigenous businesses across Canada. In addition to the more common benefits provided through agreements, a few recent examples of unique benefits provided in collaboration with our Indigenous partners include:
- Sponsoring and participating in annual Indigenous cultural Events.
- Contributing with Indigenous partners on major project’s procurement guidelines.
- Advising on warehouse best practices for a new Indigenous pharmaceutical business.
- Teaching science in remote Indigenous elementary schools.
- Supporting the construction of a new Indigenous school playground.
- Providing Christmas gifts and turkeys to remote Indigenous communities.
- Commissioning artwork for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
- Funding Youth field trip to promote cultural sharing amount First Nations.
