Quadra strengthens the participation of Indigenous Peoples in the industries we serve.
Quadra forms strong relationships with Indigenous Nations and Indigenous businesses to ensure mutual success. Embracing cultural awareness is the cornerstone of Quadra’s commitment to respecting all distinct Indigenous cultures across North America. Caring, as a core Quadra value, requires Indigenous rights and culture to be uniquely honoured to ensure inclusive diversity and reconciliation drives our team to seek out diverse opportunities with Indigenous partners.
Through Indigenous participation with shared benefit agreements, community involvement, and national organization participation, we aim to maximize the socio-economic opportunities.
Our mission is to strengthen the participation of Indigenous Peoples in the industries we serve. This is achieved by meaningful engagement, capacity building and development of social economic opportunities.
Quadra will engage Indigenous communities to build and maintain positive relationships by:
Quadra and Oosita Limited Partnership
Quadra Group has launched a limited partnership with Oosita, a driving force for prosperity and reconciliation for the Fort Chipewyan Métis Nation (FCMN). Together, the Oosita-Quadra LP commit to sharing the journey to advance the process of reconciliation and meet the evolving needs of oil sands customers in the Athabasca Region, Alberta.
Oosita partners with industry leaders who share a mission and vision for innovation, economic prosperity, exemplary service and product delivery. Quadra’s extensive logistics network and supply security give partners trust and confidence in their commitment to service excellence toward customers, suppliers, and partners.
In addition to our limited partnership with Oosita, Quadra also has shared benefits agreements with Indigenous businesses across Canada. In addition to the more common benefits provided through agreements, a few recent examples of unique benefits provided in collaboration with our Indigenous partners include:
The Selkirk Development Corporation (SDC)
“SDC and Quadra have had a productive partnership since March 1, 2020. Over the years we have developed a very close relationship with Quadra, working on very challenging projects on our traditional territory. We greatly appreciate Quadra’s collaborative approach to our partnership, and their commitment to protecting our environment and the safety of our Selkirk citizens. As such, we highly recommend Quadra as a preferred supplier of chemicals and related services to the resource industry.”
