Our relationship began when we made initial contact with the potential customer’s Corporate Procurement team, and they provided us with a list of pulp and paper chemicals they purchase for their Quebec facility. While we weren’t an existing partner at that point, we were ready to explore how we could be of service.
Then, one Saturday morning, we received an urgent call: they needed starch delivered immediately, as they had miscalculated their inventory, the existing supplier could not move up their next delivery and were at risk of shutting down the paper machine.
Thanks to a quick response from our operations team to come in on a weekend, we were able to arrange for the shipment of starch the very next day, ensuring their production continued without disruption. While we were ready to ship on the same day, carrier availability meant the load was picked up the following day.
